Overview
Meet your new favourite layering piece. This waistcoat goes with everything and can be worn nearly all year round. Pair with a flowy dress in the spring for 70s boho vibes or layer over a sweater and jeans for extra warmth and coziness. This piece is knit bottom up and shaped with simple increases and decreases making it a super quick and easy knit, perfect for beginner knitters. The whole thing is finished off with blanket stitch edges or you can add your own touch to it by finishing it off with a fun crochet edge.

Gauge
12.5 stitches and 18 rows over 10cm in stockinette, knit flat, holding 2 strands of yarn. Recommended needles 6.5mm. I recommend making a fairly large swatch as many of the testers had issues getting the same gauge in their garment as in the swatch.
