Iris top

The Iris Top is knitted from the bottom up using circular needles size 4 and 4.5 mm (6 and 7 US). The edges of the armholes are finished with an I-cord edge, which is also used for the neckline and hood opening. German short rows are used to shape the top of the hood.

Materials: approx. 250 (300) 350 (350) 400 (400)g or 5 (6) 7 (7) 8 (8) skeins DROPS Lima or another yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10cm on needle 4,5mm.

Needles: Circular needles size 4.5 mm (7 US) and 4 mm (6 US) for ribbing. I use needles with a 40 cm cable.

Useful accessories: Stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn, darning needle, measuring tape, and optionally a crochet hook (4 mm).

Gauge: 18 stitches x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm
