The Poppy Top is worked top-down using circular needles size US 6 (4 mm). The rib edges are worked on circular needles size US 4 (3.5 mm). The top has a close fit with negative ease and uses the German Short Rows technique to shape the shoulders. Ribbing is worked at the armholes, neckline, and hem.

Materials: Approx. 250 (250) 300 (300) 350 (400) g PRO LANA Merino Pur 125.
Alternatively, use LANG YARNS Merino 120 or Lana Grossa Cool Wool.
Needles: Circular needles US 6 (4 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm). Suggested cable length: 16 in (40 cm).
Useful accessories: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, and measuring tape.
Gauge: 21 sts x 31 rows = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch on US 6 (4 mm) needles.
