Irish Comfort
The Irish Comfort Blanket is made with the overlay mosaic technique. This uses back loop single crochet and front loop double crochet 1 row below. Included are written instructions, a full mosaic crochet tutorial with pictures and small sample project, charts shaded with gray and white for easier printing, charts shaded with black and white for visibility, and full charts for digital viewing. All files are in pdf format. This blanket can be made with any yarn. The pattern uses worsted weight acrylic.

Difficulty: Adventurous beginner/intermediate
Finished Measurements:
Length: 81”
Width: 70”
Materials: #4 Worsted weight or #3 dk weight recommended. Finished measurements are based on #4 worsted weight.
Premier Basix Worsted Solids: Celery approximately 3523 yds / 70oz / 10 skeins
Premier Basix Worsted Solids: Fern approximately 2812 yds / 56oz / 8 skeins
Hook: 5mm
Pattern notes: When choosing your colors, go for high contrast and tint. If you keep loose tension, you may consider going down a size on your hook to keep tight stitches and no gapping. The test swatch in the tutorial is a great way to check your colors and tension.
