Bunting to brighten your day! Beautiful bunting, with a heart- shaped motif detailed in each pennant! The heart symbolizes, and best expresses LOVE on all levels – It is recognised the world over, as a symbol of love, but also compassion and joy. I love to incorporate hearts into my designs; when the pattern is completed, as a gift for a loved one - or for yourself – the heart represents the love that you have poured into its creation. As a perfect ‘pick-me-up’, this bunting is a relatively quick and easy project, a great stash buster and can be gifted to both young and old….And of course, you can mix up your colour ways and tailor your bunting to complement any room! For any occasion! This pattern was exclusively created with an upcoming Wedding in mind!
Beginner-friendly stitches are used to create this pretty bunting, and you only need a working understanding of: slip stitch, chain, single, half double, double and treble crochet stitches.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: (Using DK yarn)
Each heart pennant measures 5” (12.5cm) across the widest part, and 5.5” (14cm) from top to point, when using the suggested hook size and yarn. The bunting, when assembled, measures 65” (165cm) from hanging loop to hanging loop.

MATERIALS:
Yarn: Suggested yarn is DK, but any yarn can be substituted. (This will alter the finished size of each triangle/pennant)
Here I used : Stylecraft Special DK: White (1001) 50g
Hook: US C-2 /3 mm crochet hook or size of hook required by chosen yarn.
Yarn Needle for sewing in any loose ends
Gauge: Using yarn/ hook size suggested : 19sts x 9rows (across heart pennant)
