This is the 2nd pattern in my “Is it Knit?” Pattern Series.

This pattern has been FULLY tested.

This hat is a very basic crochet beanie pattern - and the yarn and hook combination make it easier to achieve the ‘knit’ look - with a slightly larger stitch.

I love the look and feel of cotton - the hat is soft and very comfortable to wear. Please make sure if you substitute you find a yarn and hook combination that will give you the same gauge as specified in the pattern.

The flower featured on the hat is a pattern designed by one of my lovely Pattern Testers, Sharon K. She has agreed to let me share the pattern on my blog for everyone to enjoy. The post that includes the free flower pattern can be found here: http://oombawkadesigncrochet.com/2013/08/an-old-crochet-s...

If you would like to contact Sharon to thank her for her lovely free flower embellishment :) you can find her here;

Thank you and Happy Crocheting :)
