Isas Triangle sweater
The classic sweater everyone knows, but with a few understated, delicious details in the shoulder area. Say welcome to Isa’s triangle sweater
It is knitted topdown. First back and front shoulders are knitted apart. Under the sleevegab in the round. Sleeve sts are picked up, and the sleeves is also - despite a few short rows to create the sleevecap - knitted in the round.
The only time you really have to pay full attention is in the creation of the beautiful shoulder detail. And it’s worth the work
The size is chosen from the finish measurement 104, 114, 124, 134, 144 (all tested). So I advise you to find an oversized blouse/sweater that you are happy with. Measure it and choose the measurement given in the pattern that is closest to your favorite oversize shirt. The yellow is size X, the green size Y. Isabella in the yellow has 12 cm of positive ease. I in the green version has 20+ cm
The “fabric” must be airy. A rather large gauge has been chosen for the yarn combination. And to get the same light draping expression, it is necessary.
Yarn: Between 5 of each skein to 9½ skeins of each skein depending on the size chosen, lenght chosen and so on
Just for a note: Isabella (nickname Isa) is my daughter-in-law. She is good at telling me what she wants from knitted sweaters - and then I have to design after her wishes. This one no exception. The shoulder details was born because the normcore sweater she wanted was too boring for me to knit.
