The sweater is cast on at the back of the neck. The yoke is worked flat in sections and put on hold. While connecting front and back of the yolk, the sleeves stitches are picked up and work flat until the work is joined to knit in the round. The sweater is then increased before and between the first two stranded colourwork sections. Sleeves are separated and the colourwork pattern is continued on the body. Each sleeve is worked, decreasing between each stranded colourwork section. To finish off, the neckline is worked in ribbing.
