A right-angled triangle shaped shawl with a lace insert and a lacey trim, knitted flat, bottom up.

The lace edging is knitted along with the body of the shawl, then at the end of the piece it is turned and knitted onto the shortest side of the triangle as an applied border. (Optional.)

Customisable in size.

The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and for the first time with video demonstrations too!

This grass green, sturdy little shawl is a very personal project. It was designed and knitted during a time in my life when everything was in limbo, in a mix of happy, impatient anticipation, grave worries and fears about how many things can go wrong, and planning how life will be once the wait is over.
After long years of living in “exile” and working for a future I was about to move back to my home country and settle down. Instead of a hazy, one-day-maybe dream there actually was a set date for our move to become a reality.
I was constantly dreaming of the lively, green hillside that was awaiting, with all its simplicity, peace and delicate beauty, and tried to turn those hopes and dreams into a heavy, happy shawl that could softly hug my shoulders on the coming spring evenings, watching the sunset from our own porch.
