The Second Date shawl is for one of those occasions when you don’t want to go all out, nothing too fancy, you don’t want to look overdressed/too eager, but you do aim to look your best in a more casual, “I just grabbed this old thing from the bottom of a drawer” kind of way.
With all the different textures and motifs the piece does offer a lot of visual interest but at the same time it’s simple and versatile. Can be worn equally well with a nice little flowery dress for a lakeside dinner, with jeans and a perky ponytail when you expect to accidentally bump into that handsome young men in the park while walking your dog, or at a more professional setting over a blazer when you need to appear in your proper teacher role.

Yarn - Drops Karisma, Light Denim Blue (325 g/650 m)

Gauge - 21 sts/28 rs in 10 cm in stockinette stitch before blocking on 4 mm needles

Size - 144 cm x 72cm
