This pattern is available from knitequalsjoy.com for $5.00.

It’s Fall, Y’all is created simply by using increases and decreases. The addition of mohair/silk adds a luxurious touch, and silk-wrapped paper adds a fun, almost crispy Fall texture to the stem. The pattern includes instructions for two different pumpkin shapes/sizes so that you can add both to your Fall décor!

Skills Needed: Working in the round, kfb, m1r, m1l and m1 increases, k2tog, p2tog, and a center double decrease (instructions for this in Abbreviations), i-cord.

Measurements, approximate (These will vary depending on amount of fiberfill used):
Short Pumpkin: Circumference: 25.5 in 64.8 cm; diameter: 8 in 20.3 cm; height: 6.5 in 16.5 cm.
Tall Pumpkin: Circumference: 17.5 in 44.5 cm; diameter: 5.5 in 14 cm; height: 10.25 in 26 cm.

Yarn:
Pumpkin MC: 255 yds 235 m each of Amanda Hope Yarn Aussie Extra Fine Merino Fingering (Fingering; 100% 19.5 Micron Extra Fine Australian Merino; 437 yds/100 g) in Pumpkin and Amanda Hope Yarn Superkid Mohair/Silk (Lace Weight; 72% Superkid Mohair/28% Mulberry Silk; 459 yds/50 g) in Pumpkin. These two yarns are held together and knit as one.

Pumpkin CC: 100 yds 92 m each of Amanda Hope Yarn Aussie Extra Fine Merino Fingering (Fingering; 100% 19.5 Micron Extra Fine Australian Merino; 437 yds/100 g) in Charcoal and Amanda Hope Yarn Superkid Mohair/Silk (Lace Weight; 72% Superkid Mohair/28% Mulberry Silk; 459 yds/50 g) in Charcoal. These two yarns are held together and knit as one.

Stem: 35 yds each Habu Textiles n-24b paper wrapped in raw silk (fingering/novelty; 100% linen with raw silk wrap; 156 yds/0.5 oz.) in Charcoal and Amanda Hope Yarn Superkid Mohair/Silk (Lace Weight; 72% Superkid Mohair/28% Mulberry Silk; 459 yds/50 g) in Charcoal. These two yarns are held together and knit as one.

Needles:
Body of Pumpkin: US size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles and 16 in. circular needles.
Stem: US size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles.

Gauge: 30 sts and 32 rnds = 4” 10 cm in chevron stitch. This pattern is worked at a tighter gauge than normal so the fiberfill does not show through fabric.

Other Materials: Stitch markers if desired, small tapestry needle, tape measure, 1 bag (16 oz.) polyester fiberfill (you will not need the entire bag), large (1 ½ in. about 4 cm) button (optional). If making tall pumpkin, 1 bag (24 oz.) polypropylene beads, a knee-high nylon, a drawstring fabric pouch (see picture on page 9), or a clean, spare sock to create a bag to enclose the polypropylene beads. If using the sock, a needle and thread will also be required.
