Inspired by one of our favorite designs from years ago (Darn Pillows), It’s Not a Pillow is our July Makers Project. We are GREAT at naming patterns aren’t we?

It’s Not a Pillow reimagines the textured, cabled-stitch motifs from our original pillow pattern as a cozy, wearable cowl. These fun textures come together in a fresh new way that is easy to knit and easy to wear.

This special kit features Harris DK by West Yorkshire Spinners, which was created in partnership with The William Morris Society, so the colors are dreamy. The yarn is spun from a thoughtfully balanced blend of three exceptional British fleeces…lustrous Bluefaced Leicester, soft and durable Bluefaced Kerry Hill, and rustic Masham.

Oh, and these BUTTONS!!

We saw these buttons in June at our trade show and just knew we had to have them on a project. Embroidered and colorful. Perfect on It’s Not a Pillow!

All 6 colors are so fun with the buttons. Oh, the exact buttons may vary a bit from package to package, but you’ll love them all!
