Two highly contrasting colors, garter stripes and easy mosaic stitch make the Ivy Hill Shawll a bold accessory.

Starting with three stitches, the shawl is worked from tip to base. The slip stitch mosaic pattern is rhythmic and easy to read, making this a hard to put down project. Note that the mosaic instructions are charted only.

The finished measurements are taken after blocking, and may vary, depending on how vigorously you block the shawl:
Wingpsan: approx 50.5”
Depth at center: approx 22”

The suggested needle size is US 5 (3.75 mm), and while exact gauge is not crucial, a change in gauge or needle size can affect the amount of yarn used and the size of the finished shawl.

Fingering weight yarn, 400 yards each of two highly contrasting colors, is needed. The sample shown is worked in Loop Sprig, a hand dyed superwash merino, using the colors Charcoal and Cloud.
