About the design

j o v I a l neck warmer opens and closes around the neck with push buttons so you don’t have to pull it over your head. The neck is knitted in double knitted stocking stitch cast on with Judy’s magical double cast-on. Along the raglan pattern there is an openwork pattern ( a hole on either side of the raglan stitch), giving the j o v i a l neck warmer its signature aesthetic. Finally, there is an elegant picot edge on the border and a hidden closure in the neck so that the push buttons cannot be seen.

Sizes and dimensions

Size 1:
37-38 cm (14¾-15 in) (gauge 17 x 24) (gauge 6¾-9½ in)

(Size 2):
40 cm (15¾ in) (gauge 16 x 24) (gauge 6½-9½ in)

Size 3:
42-43 cm (16¾-17 in) (gauge 17 x 24) (gauge 6¾-9½ in)

(Size 4):
45 cm (17¾ in) (gauge 16 x 24) (gauge 6½-9½ in)

Measurements are for the circumference of the collar (without the button overlap) when it is knitted and washed. The size includes positive ease of approximately 3-5 cm (1¼-2 in). For example, if your neck measures 34 cm (13½ in) in circumference, choose size 1 to result in the recommended fit with the positive ease allowance. Tip: The smaller the positive ease, the tighter the collar will be around the neck. Therefore, I recommend, for those who want a tighter collar, to reduce the ease allowance to be smaller than recommended.
