This pattern is easy and uses easy stitches. The only thing that is different about this pumpkin is the placement of your stitches when creating the outer “lobes” of the pumpkin. The stitches are worked into loops that are not normally used, but photos have been included in the pattern to show where those stitches should go.

This stitch placement gives the pumpkin more of a 3D effect to an otherwise 2D piece.
