This lovely thick cowl can be whatever length you need it to be. I’ve made it so that it is just long enough to cover the neck and another that can be brought up over the lower half of the face without having to be stretched out.
This pattern is knit on the round using a 24” cable on 5mm needles. The yarn I used I purchased in bulk which means I unfortunately don’t know the yardage used per cowl. I made my first one in one evening so they aren’t a big project at all so I’d estimate that one skein of yarn would be needed, but again that would all depend on how long you would like to make it.
