NOTES
The body of the shawl is made up of two identical striped triangles, which are joined in the center to create the appearance of a center square with a smaller triangle on each side.

The inner border is worked by picking up stitches along two sides of the assembled body. After completing the inner border, stitches are cast on for the lace edging which is attached to the inner border by joining the last edging stitch to one border stitch at the end of each RS row.
