This blanket is the June pattern for the Knotty Boys 2013 Calendar, published by Kate Jackson for her yarn shop, Knots.

Jake is the front man and leader of the nationally known “Chardon Polka Band”. An accordion enthusiast since age 14, Jake now spends his days polka-ing across the country and breathing new life into the polka genre. When not on stage with his band, Jake enjoys kayaking, hiking, and picnics, of course! This blanket was a special gift to Jake from all of the Knotty Girls.

Materials: 3,000 yards worsted weight yarn
(shown in Plymouth Coffee Beenz, colors 9000, 9001, 9217, and 9003, 100 grams and 214 yards per hank - 1 hank for each of the 15 panels)
Size 8 needles, and a size H crochet hook, for edging

(Note: The stitches used in this blanket are designed to allow for slight differences in gauge between several knitters, and is an excellent choice for group or community projects. Feel free to share this pattern with your prayer shawl or community knitting group, maintaining copyright and author information. If you are an especially tight or loose knitter, please adjust your needle size accordingly.)
