This dynamic duo is knitted in the round, starting with size 5 circular needles and ending with size 6’s (unless you choose to go slouchy! Then, you will end with size 7’s).This timeless and classic design is not only beautiful, it has fabulous texture and style. There are two beanie patterns within this publication, that make for THE BEST “His & Hers” beanie set! The pattern has 2 brim variations as well as 2 versions of the stitch design. It also features graphs for both stitch patterns as well as written instructions for each. Beads are optional but absolutely intensify the beauty factor for Her! Size 6 beads were used for the featured grey beanie with pink beads. You will need: one skein of DK weight yarn (you will not use all 250 yards), size 5 & 6 16-inch circular needles (size 7 for the slouchy version), a cable needle, and either size 6 or size 7 DPN’s (or magic loop), up to 192 size 6 beads, a stranding needle, and a darning needle. The gauge for this beanie is 6 stitches per inch.
