Bonnets make me SO happy! I designed these sweet pea dolls for week 3 of the Jane Austen Wreath KAL! The other designs for week 3 are Knit or Stick Acorn Teapot and Cup of Tea, Anyone? The KAL runs to the end of December so there’s still time to join the fun!

If you’ve made my dolls before, you know that they are a lot less fiddly than they look! They are mostly knit in one piece in the round on dpns. Even the peas on the boys hats are simply pea colored bobbles. The body is knit from the bottom to the top and made hollow for a pipe cleaner and wooden bead to fit inside. They make superb gifts for those Austen fans in your life or a sweet little something to treat yourself!

Supplies needed
Dpns, pretty scrap yarn, pipe cleaners, 12mm wooden beads and a few hours.
