THIS IS A CROCHET PATTERN, NOT A FINISHED OBJECT

Once you purchase the pattern, you’ll receive a 18-page PDF file containing pictures and instructions to help you create your amigurumi from scratch.

This pattern is available both in English and in Spanish as a free Ravelry download.

Stay tuned for forthcoming patterns on my Instagram @crocheterasindedal :)

This pattern is part of an ongoing collection called ‘Women in Science’, which wants to give visibility and revindicate the work of great women who helped make the world a better place. This collection aims to represent women from several disciplines, ranging from computer science to anthropology.

This pattern will help you create a Jane Goodall doll, an ethologist whose studies about the chimpanzees completely changed the view that people had about both chimpanzees and humans. Once finished, the doll has an approximate height of 8cm, which makes her a great keychain :)

These are the supplies you’ll need:

  • Cotton yarn of size 2.5-3mm (I’ve used Schjeeps Cotton 8) in the colours: cream, gray, sand, green and black.

  • 2.5mm crochet hook

  • 3mm crochet hook

  • Polyester filling

  • 6mm safety eyes

  • Yarn needle, scissors, pins…

  • Glue

  • Blush (optional)
