Janne Ribbed Beanie is a classic beanie that is folded over once. It is worked top down in ribbing before being finished off with an elastic bind-of. Since it’s being worked top down, it is the perfect project for those single skeins that are left over from bigger projects and that you want to use up until the last bit.

Sizing:
The pattern is available in two sizes 1 (2). The sizes are recommended for a head circumference of 54 – 57 (58 – 62) cm.
(Adjusting the pattern to fit a bigger or smaller head circumference can be done very easily by repeating the increases more/less often)

Yarn:
44 (46) g of Bio Balance by BC Garn (225 m / 50 g, shown in the color Flieder) together with 22 (23) g of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (225 m / 25 g, shown in the color Unicorn Purple)
or 44 (46) g Cardiff Cashmere Classic (112 m / 25 g)

Needles:
3,5mm double pointed needles or circular needles to work with the magic loop technique

Gauge:
26 sts x 34 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (washed, not stretched) in 1 x 1 ribbing
22 sts x 34 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (washed, slightly stretched) in 1 x 1 ribbing

General Note: As a “one-woman-show” I translated this pattern myself. As a native German grammar mistakes in the English pattern can occur.
The pattern has been test knitted, so you should be good to go - if you have any questions or problems, please contact me at quasigerade@web.de - Thank you so much for your support!
