Japanese Iris Shawl

The Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center in Philadelphia is a lovely traditional Japanese house and garden. This design was inspired by the wallpaper in the entry of the house. This rectangular shawl is started in the middle using a provisional cast on. Then each half is knit from the center to the edge.
I used a 2 ply laceweight yarn with one ply being handspun cashmere and one ply commercial spun bombyx silk.
Warning - the pattern has not been test knitted by anyone other than myself so there may be errors. Please let me know if you find any and I will post a corrected version. Please make sure you have the most recent version. Thanks.
