The size of the heart varies depending on yarn choice and how long you pull the loops when working the Jasmine Stitch

Example:
Using Drops Merino Extra Fine and pulling loops to approx. 1.4 cm (0.55”), the heart measures about:
• Height: ~6 cm (2.36”)
• Width: ~6 cm (2.36”)
These measurements are approximate.

Yarn & materials
You need less than 10 meters of yarn per heart.

Suggested yarns:
• Drops Merino Extra Fine
• Lana Grossa Lucida
• Hobbii Metallico
• Merinoull from Sandnes garn
• Other DK / 8-ply yarns

Many other yarn types will also work well, feel free to experiment with your stash!

Tip:
I recommend using a compressible yarn — that is, yarn that looks kind of thick but flattens nicely when pressed between your fingers. This lets you achieve full petals while keeping the flower centers small.

Hook: 3 mm (Use a smaller hook than usual for your yarn to keep flower centers tight.)
