This pattern is 4 patterns in one - teardrop-shaped baskets and circular bowls in 2 sizes each, made with the beautiful and unique jasmine stitch.

This stitch is briefly challenging to beginners but becomes easier very quickly with practice. The basket pattern is fully supported by a video on my Youtube channel, but watching my primer on the basic stitch first would definitely help if you are unfamiliar with jasmine stitch.

Almost any natural fibre will work here but I do recommend a worsted weight for sturdy baskets and bowls that keep their shape.
