Jean-Craig est le grand frère de Craig (grand tee-shirt raglan oversize), mais pour l’hiver cette fois-ci. Il reprend exactement les mêmes codes, avec ses manches trois-quarts et ses grands raglans et son encolure ronde (option col roulé puisqu’on est en hiver). Il est tricoté avec deux fils, un pure laine et un silk mohair, pour un rendu très chaud, entièrement en jersey endroit. Avec ses proportions, il fait un peu penser aux tuniques tricotées vintage des années 70, qu’on portait par-dessus un pull fin col roulé, un vrai revival !

• 3 – 4 – 4 – 4 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 6 – 6 pelotes de Tynn silk mohair Sandnes Garn (col. 2511) ou autre fil d’épaisseur lace.
Équivalent métrage (pour chaque fil) : 592 – 661 – 720 – 780 – 864 – 951 – 1041 – 1129 – 1223 mètres.
• Aiguilles circulaires n°3,5, n°4 et n°5 (80 cm recommandés).
• 8 anneaux marqueurs dont 1 d’une couleur différente, ramasse-mailles, aiguille à laine, ciseaux pour couper les fils.

Échantillon : tricoté en jersey endroit (à plat et en circulaire), avec les aiguilles n°5 et les deux fils tenus ensemble : 16 mailles x 24 rangs pour un carré de 10 cm de côté, après blocage.

Tour de poitrine du pull : 100 – 110 – 120 – 130 – 140 – 150 – 160 – 170 – 180 cm.

Environ 20 à 40 cm d’aisance positive sont recommandés pour Jean-Craig selon le rendu souhaité. Pour choisir quelle taille tricoter, mesurer son tour de poitrine, ajouter l’aisance recommandée et / ou souhaitée, et faire la taille correspondante en tour de poitrine du pull. Je porte une taille 4 avec 42 cm d’aisance positive environ.

Jean-Craig is Craig’s brother (the large oversized raglan t-shirt), but for the winter this time. It has exactly the same codes, with its three-quarter sleeves and large raglans and round neckline (turtleneck option since it’s winter). It is knitted with two strands of yarn held together, a pure wool and a silk mohair, for a very warm look, entirely in jersey. With its proportions, it is a bit reminiscent of the vintage knitted tunics from the 70s, which were worn over a thin turtleneck sweater, a real revival!

• Needles: 3,5 and 4 and 5 mm / US 4 and 6 and 8 circular needles, 80 cm length or size to meet gauge, 8 markers (one of a different color), stitch holder or scrap yarn, tapestry needle, scissors.

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch worked flat and in the round on 5 mm / US 8 needles with both yarns held together.

Chest circumference (fullest point): 100 – 110 – 120 – 130 – 140 – 150 – 160 – 170 – 180 cm/ 39 ¼ - 43 ¼ - 47 ¼ - 51 ¼ - 59 – 63 – 67 – 70 ¾ inches.

To be worn with 20 – 40 cm / 8 – 16 inches of positive ease. To choose which size to fit, measure your chest circumference, add recommended or desired ease and knit the corresponding size in chest circumference (fullest point). (I wear size 4 with 42 cm / 16 ½ inches of positive ease).
