This is a super fast project and perfect if you’re looking to knit something in a hurry or need a boost of confidence in your knitting skills! Also makes a great gift!

It’s a flexible pattern as you knit the desired length and is easy, using the double seed stitch. I eyeball and use approximately 1 and 3/4 of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick.

Using the amount of yarn I used for the photos above, the scarf can be wrapped twice for a long infinity “indoor” scarf or wrapped three times for a cowl to keep you warm for those cold Northeast winters!

Knitting tip: use circular needles and just knit back and forth like regular needles. Less chance of dropping a stitch or losing a needle - it’s like those mittens you might have worn when you were a kid that were connected by a long piece of yarn!

Materials needed:

Size 15 knitting needles
2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick (or similar yarn)

Original Pattern, using double seed stitch

Cast on 17 stitches

Row 1: k1, p1, to the end, ending with k1
Row 2: repeat row 1
Row 3: p1, k1, to the end, ending with p1
Row 4: repeat row 3

Continue rows 1-4 until you reach desired length.

Cast off and sew the two ends together using an invisible seam

Enjoy!
