If you prefer to make a Double Knit Jingle Jangle the yarns are the same quantity but needle sizes should be 3mm/3US for the elf and 3.5mm/4US for hat and dungarees. A smaller safety eye would be advisable too, 10mm.

This is Jingle Jangle the Christmas elf. He measures 17 inches/43cms standing or 10 inches/26cms sitting using Aran/Worsted Weight yarn. Or 15 inches/38cms standing or 9 inches/23cms sitting if worked in Double Knit yarn.

As an option I have included in the making up guide a detailed direction on how to add poly pellet weights to his bottom to help him sit nicely on the shelf but you can stuff him with just polyester safety stuffing if you prefer. He is knitted flat on 2 needles and assembled.

He has a simple seam joint to his hips and knees, which enables him to be very flexible and sit nicely.

He’s a very sweet little elf who would love to become part of your family and join in with your Christmas celebrations every year or would be happy to be taken home by a little person to be loved unconditionally.

I have included a very detailed making up guide with lots of photos, hints and tips which will help you create a perfect Jingle Jangle Elf.
