Better yet, all of the borders are interchangeable among the other blocks in the collection so you can mix things up and play matchmaker! Designer’s note: Johnny is a pretty straightforward, in your face, no nonsense kind of square. Ok, maybe just a little nonsense. But I know you’ll have fun with it. This square is a great opportunity to play with dashes of color. And it works up quite fast!
Both the Johnny 9 inch block and its border were rated by the pattern testers as an intermediate because of a just a few tricky stitch placements. The pattern contains plenty of photos to help you through those parts.

Two versions of the pattern are included for download - a photo-rich version and a no-frills, printer-friendly, text-mostly version that includes a single small photo.
