Jolly Shawl is knit sideways from one end in one piece, including border and edging. It is increased, worked even, and then decreased.
It would be easy to adjust the size of your shawl by simply adding or omitting repeat sections.

The sample is worked in Baby Cotton by Gazzal Sport: 60% cotton, 40% Acrylic (246 yds (225 m)/ 1.76 Oz (50g)).

Finished Measurements: after light blocking - 51.2” (130 cm) wingspan, 15.7” (40 cm) spine.
