The Jonah hat is a cosy cabled hat named after my beautiful Labrador Jonah. We love to explore the countryside on our winter walks, and this hat is perfect for keeping me warm and cosy whilst we adventure! The design is deceptively simple and would make a great knit for an adventurous beginner.

Charts are included for the main body of the hat in addition to written line by line instructions.

Yarn: The sample shown uses one 100g skein of The Yarn Lab UK DK yarn (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon) in the Guardian colourway (246yds/225m per 100g).

Recommended Needle Size: 3.25mm (US Size 3) and 3.75mm on 16 inch circular and 32 inch circular cables (for magic loop) or DPNs.

Gauge: 24 sts / 36 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch

One size: to fit 21-22inch/54-56cm circumference - however the size can be adjusted by using a smaller or larger needle size. The hat length is 9 inches.
