The Jonah mittens are cosy cabled mittens named after my beautiful Labrador Jonah. We love to explore the countryside on our winter walks, and these mittens in combination with the matching Jonah hat are perfect for keeping me warm and cosy whilst we adventure!

Charts are included for the cable sections in addition to written line by line instructions.

Yarn: The sample shown uses one 100g skein of The Yarn Lab UK DK yarn (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon) in the Butterbeer Moustache colourway (246yds/225m per 100g).

Recommended Needle Size: 3.25mm (US Size 3) and 3.75mm on 32 inch circular cables (for magic loop) or DPNs.

Gauge: 24 sts / 36 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch

One size:

  • Medium: to fit 7 inch / 18cm hand circumference (measured around the knuckle joints)
  • Large: to fit 7.75 inch / 20.5cm hand circumference (measured around the knuckle joints)
