The Jonuco Shawl was designed as a gift for Mother’s Day and with my mother’s favorite place in mind.

The pattern is very simple, allowing the yarn to shine and show off its lovely undertones.

This pattern can be easily customized for a larger fit by adding 2-stitch repeats to body (to account for additional YOs & K2togs in transition rows between edge & body).

This shawl was designed for a 5’0, 100 pound woman in mind. However, blocking was very relaxed. Aggressive blocking may be enough to account for height/weight differences.
