Any time I’m feeling the need for a bit of vacation…I’ll be reaching for this cardi to remind me of full days playing outside, and rainy days reading listening to music or playing board games.

Recommend solid or tonal yarn to best demonstrate texture.
Cardigan is worked flat in one piece from the hem upwards to armholes.
Back and Fronts are worked flat from armholes to shoulder and joined with 3 needle bind off.
Main and Contrast colors are carried along selvedge edge or BOR by twisting bottom strand with each working RS strand of yarn.
Sleeve stitches are picked up and knit in the round from shoulder to cuff, either 3/4 Length or Long Sleeve.
Collar and Button Bands worked by picking up selvedge sts.
Cardigan features Contrast and MC 2x2 ribbed hem, and body with stockinette and slip stitch pattern over complementary-color garter stripes.

Sweater is designed with 4–6” / 10–15 cm of overall ease. Choose the size which is 4–6” / 10–15 cm larger than actual bust/actual body circumference.

Gauge: All gauges are calculated per 4” / 10 cm finished, blocked fabric, using gauge needles. Texture: 20 sts and 28 rows/rnds
2x2 rib: 24 sts and 32 rows / rnds.
