Joviality – a state of merriment. This sport weight cardigan’s wide collar, hem and cuffs are adorned with an interrupted rib pattern that looks great on both sides – a nice feature as the open front sweater moves around you. The rib stitch shows off the beauty of hand dyed yarn in a mix of horizontal and vertical lines. It shapes gently around the neck and falls gracefully down each front.

Construction
The cardigan body is worked flat from the hem to the neckline, joining the sleeves at the underarm. Sleeves are worked in the round from cuff to underarm. The yoke is worked with raglan shaping. Stitches are picked up along the front edge and around neck for a finishing wide border of Interrupted Horizontal Rib. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
