A stranded colourwork pattern similar to my recent Bobbin Head release and known within my home as Sister of Bobbin Head.

This version is more closely fitted, features two rounds of Jumbo Bobbins inspired by my Ashford spinning wheels, is far less slouchy and has a different finish on the crown. Both were designed to wear to the recent Australian Sheep and Wool Show (#spendigo2026).

Written in one size only, the sample shown used the following yarns;

MC: Panda Beulah 90 metres
C2: Cleckheaton Country Merino Marles 25 metres
C3: Sock weight yarn held doubled 60 metres but I recommend using DK which would require approximately 30 metres

Gauge:
22sts and 23 rounds over 10cm

Needles and Notions:
3.25mm and 4mm - 40cm circular
One end of round marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Colourwork is charted but decreases are written.

No one in my family can take a decent photo so I’m afraid that for now you are stuck with the one shown.
