A modern cable knit beanie pattern with an eye-catching cable repeat that’s easy to follow and a pleasure to knit.

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate

SKILLS USED: Cast on, knit in the round, knit and purl stitches, knit and purl two together, basic cables. Additional techniques are explained in the pattern.

This pattern will work best with yarn of similar composition, i.e. approximately 25% of nylon/polyamide base. Other yarn can be used as long as it meets the gauge. Alternative yarns used by the pattern testers:

Drops Air with an additional thread of a fingering weight yarn
