Just Meow Socks are short socks worked cuff down in stockinette stitch. Their only decoration is the strengthened diamond heel and sole construction details.
Designed to knit for the whole family, this project is classic and has sizes for women, men and kids.
The instruction includes 2 options:
one color for the whole sock or
a contrasting color for the cuff tab and toes.

Available sizes depend on forefoot circumference:
toddlers 1, kids (2), adults 3 (4) 5 (6) 7.
Circumference of sock 12.5 (14.5) 16 (18) 19.5 (22) 23cm/4.9 (5.7) 6.3 (7.1) 7.7 (8.6) 9.1“.
Circumference and length of the sock before blocking should be ~1 - 2cm less than your foot dimensions, otherwise it can slip easily while wearing.

Yarn dedicated for socks blends of Superwash Merino Yarn and nylon/bamboo/nettle or silk fibers (to provide the durability), in a 4ply/fingering weight (400m/437 yards,100g/ 3.72 oz) .
For kid sizes you need 25 - 35g/0.88 - 1.23oz, and adult sizes you need 40 - 85g/1.41 - 3.0oz (depends on foot dimensions). If you’d like to have contrasting cuff tub and toes you need to include ~10 - 20g/0.35 - 0.7oz.

You need needles in 2 sizes. For the cuff size 2.0mm/US 0, and 2.25mm/US 1for the rest of the sock (or size needed to obtain gauge).
Use a cord up to 32”/80cm for Magic loop or prefered method for working in the round. (The pattern is written for Magic Loop).
I highly recommend the working on the Interchangable Needles especially for work with double folded cuff.

Gauge 34 sts x 46 rnds = 10cm/4” on 2.25mm/ US1 needles, worked in Stockinette St in the round (blocked).
