This beautiful wrap is so simple to make that two patterns fit on one page--one for yourself and one to share!

The instructions are for a large rectangular wrap (800 yards fingering and 800 yards mohair held together throughout) with variations included for a narrower scarf or poncho option (400 yards fingering and 400 yards mohair held together throughout).

The wrap (in pink) is made with a Cornbread and Honey gradient set of 5 minis and a pink mohair. The gradient skeins were divided in half and knitted darkest to lightest for the first half and lightest to darkest for the second half.

The poncho was made with 3 colors of Koigu (175 yds. each) and a gray mohair. The Koigu skeins were divided in half and knitted in the same manner as the gradient skeins, holding the mohair together throughout.

While I chose to create a gradient effect, these pieces would be equally as lovely in one color, a variegated yarn or a speckled yarn with either a coordinating or contrasting mohair. Let your own creativity shine!

The mohair used was a blend of mohair and silk that gives the piece a light, silky soft feel. Though it is an open mesh stitch, it will still provide the warmth you need for those blustery winter days.

Enjoy!
