Kaarna
Kaarna cowl is wonderfully plush, airy and warm. The pattern resembles the bark of a tree where it also got name from. Kaarna is Finnish and means bark. It is knitted as brioche, so it looks the same on both sides. So it doesn’t matter which way you put the cowl on!
There is two sizes, for children and for adult.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 200m (235m) of DK weight yarn. I used Sandnes Garn Merinoull (105m/50g) in colours 2650 and 4043.
Needles: US 4/ 3,5mm or size to achieve gauge. I recommend using a 40 cm long circular needle.
Others: Cable needle.
If you have any questions or you need help, feel free to ask from me. I will be happy to help.
