Pattern Notes
The dress is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back neck is shaped with short rows. Increases are worked in the yoke, after which the work is divided into the body and sleeves. The body is worked first in the round, with increases added to create a wider hem circumference than the circumference at the underarm. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round.

Yarn and Yardage
Vuonue Onneli wool roving yarn, 100 % Finnish wool, 100 g = 200 m / 218 yd per skein

You can substitute Onneli with another yarn that allows you to achieve the gauge given in the pattern. The Varjelus collection has also been worked using the following wool yarns, which achieve a similar gauge:
• Isstex Lettlopi, Icelandic wool yarn
• Urpolan Tilapuoti Lahja, Finnsheep wool yarn (Aran)
• Rintalan Tila Iivari, 3-ply Kainuu Grey wool yarn
• Rintalan Tila Helmi, lambswool yarn
• Ali-Unkin lammastila, wool roving yarn

You are also welcome to try a local wool yarn or another favourite yarn, as long as you can achieve the gauge given in the pattern.
The sample shown is knitted in Onneli in the following colours:
