Kani a hand-crocheted and hand-knitted vest pattern by Aimée Gille
The Kani vest inspiration comes from my travels in Japan and a special encounter with a maker named Kani. This vest brings together two techniques I love: knitting and crochet. It symbolizes two different worlds coming together in one design.

I used La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted in Yellow Brick Road for the main color and a leftover of Wensley Worsted in Flash Fluo for the contrast color.

For my size, size 7, on my 124cm bust size I used 3 skeins of Corrie Worsted, 690 meters (750 yards) and about 13 meters (14.2 yards) of Wensley Worsted.
