Kantarellen is a slouchy beanie that features Turkish and Egyptian motifs. It’s part of my series Knitting from Søndre Nordstrand, which celebrates the immigrant background of residents in this district of Oslo.

The pattern calls for sport weight yarn in the following quantities:

110 m/120 yards in main colour (black)
70 m/76 yards in contrast colour 1 (blue)
25 m/27 yards in contrast colour 2 (green)
