This pattern was created in collaboration with Linda O’Brien. It is a longer variation of the Lucy cardigan which has pockets.

The cardigan can also be knitted without the argyle pattern on the pockets and left plain or have the argyle pattern embroidered on them.

Supplies needed:

• 1 skein (50 g) of fingering weight yarn in main colour
• remnants of fingering weight yarn in 3 additional colours
• A pair of circular knitting needles 2 mm (US#0)
• Crochet hook or yarn needle for finishing
• 7 small buttons, needle and thread
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
In stockinette stitch with 2 mm (#0) knitting needles my gauge is 16-17 stitches and 24 rows in 2 inch (5.1 cm) square. You may need to use larger needles to get this gauge.
