This adult sized beanie pattern is suitable for the beginning knitter. The beanie is knitted in the round from the brim to crown using worsted weighted yarn.

Approximately 130 yards of worsted weight yarn is used to complete the beanie. The beanie is knitted in the round with US size 7 circular needles, 16” US size 8 circular needles, and US size 8 double pointed needles (or needles appropriate to obtain proper knitting gauge), and a cable needle or extra double point needle for use in cables. A beginner’s knowledge knitting cables is assumed.

This pattern has been tested. Thank you to my lovely test knitters.
