Wrap yourself in a blend of merino and silk. Kerstins wrap has an interesting construction that both is entertaining to knit and sits well on your shoulders. You start knitting in the round, and finish it off with 2 borders.
Materials needed
Yarn: 300 (360) gram fingering weight 75% merino 25%silk yarn. The sample is knitted in Lisa Linkvarn https://www.lisalinkvarn.se/produkt-kategori/garn/lisa-li... The shawl is also tested in other yarns, including lace yarns with positive result.
Needles: Circular needles U.S. size 5/3.75 mm or the size needed to meet gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers. A darning needle for weaving in ends.
Stitch Gauge 5.5-6 stitches equals 2.5 cm/1 inch in stockinette.
Row gauge 10 rows = 2.5 cm/1 inch in stockinette.
The gauge is given after blocking. The gauge is not crucial for a wrap, it’s more important that you like the fabric, but for appreciation of finished size you might take it into consideration.
Sizes M (L) Se measures. Depth is the same in both sizes, only wingspan differs.
Finished Measures: Wingspan 160 (200) cm/ 63 (97) inches. Depth 80 (80) cm/ 31.5 (31.5) inches.

Mönstret finns både på engelska och svenska.
