If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using light worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

There are two cables contained within this pattern. One is a most unusual geometric cable, and the other is the honeycomb cable, that is a famous old Aran cable. The two blend together beautifully.

There are two options for stitches used in the pockets, the focal stitch or the border stitch.

There are also instructions for a crocheted edging for both the shawl and the pockets, should you want it edged. This in the ONLY crochet in the pattern, the optional edging.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

The Focal Stitch is both charted and written out, but the little honeycomb stitch is charted only.
