A simple cap: for those who crave simplicity.

Practical garter stitch hugs around dear little heads and i-cord ties tuck snugly under the chin. The pattern is written with options for both double knitting (DK) and worsted weight yarn, and lends itself well to the characters of wool. The shaping gives interest to the knitting with decreases hidden in the garter ridges both in the brim and in the back of the cap while incorporating short rows in the body for a close fit.
