PDF Crochet pattern for my stash busting Kit n Caboodle Sweater. Pattern includes sizes S-4XL. It features a raglan sleeves, oversize fitting and contrasting cuffs. . This pattern uses slip stitch ribbing, and moss stitch crochet. While it is not a beginner pattern, if you are somewhat experienced in crocheting I would say it’s easy enough for your first sweater, as long as you’re comfortable with the required stitches and increasing/decreasing them.

This pattern is made with a 8mm hooks and it is designed to use up any yarn in your stash. This project uses moss stitch and single crochet front loop only.
The moss stitch is worked with 2 strands ranging from 4 ply to light worsted held together. Total 1800-3000 meters depending on size.

Chest measurements straight across: size S-50cm, M-55cm, L-60cm, XL-65cm, 2XL-70cm, 3XL-75cm, 4XL-80cm.

It is a written pattern with step by step instructions, no images for each step. It is in English and uses standard US terminology, with specifics given in both metric units.

The idea for this sweater came when I was cleaning out my stash for the umpteenth time, I was about to just throw a whole bag of left overs, half skeins I’d adopted or odd balls I just couldn’t help myself from buying at the thrift store, when I thought I might as well do something with it. It took some trial and error (mostly error) to get it right, and while it barely put a dent in my stash it made me aware of my yarn consumption, and how I can make more of what I already have (which is a lot). In fact, the whole kit n caboodle is in there!
