This pattern, written in three sizes, is fairly simple, and requires no sewing/stitching of seams. Although worsted weight yarn is suggested, this pattern can easily be done in any weight you choose. You will be working top-down, row-by-row, and every row will have the same number of stitches. The body is worked with double crochets, and the ribbing is done with an alternating pattern of front post and back post double crochets. You may finish your hat with a simple sc trim, or crab stitch, and don’t forget you can always stitch your ‘ears’ closed or add any surface crochet stitches if you like! Keep Warm, and March On!!
